Classical Ballet Dress Code and Suggested Classes per week.
First Steps, Pre-Ballet & Beg I. Ballet: Pink Leotard, Pink tights (with feet), pink leather ballet slippers, pink dance skirt. Hair must be pulled back into a bun. In this level we suggest one class per week.

Ballet II & III Black Leotard, pink tights (with feet), pink leather ballet slippers. Hair must be pulled back in a bun. In Ballet II or III we suggest you take two or more lessons per week and also add modern. This is the age dancers start to prepare for pointe class. Dancers going on pointe are required to take three ballet classes plus the pointe class, per week to be strong enough while working en pointe. Ballet III dancers may wear a black dance skirt. The skirt approved for class is the S12 - Mirella's Georgette chiffon wrap skirt with self tie. Skirt 12" in front and 14" in back.

Boys may wear black tights, dance shorts or black jazz pants, white tee shirt and Black or white ballet slippers. Long hair must be pulled back in a pony tail.

When purchasing ballet slippers, please make sure they are traditional full or split sole leather ballet slippers.
Modern Dance
Black Jazz Pants or shorts, Studio or white Tee shirt or leotard, Black jazz shoes. Hair must be tied back away from face, preferrably in a bun.
Boys: White Tee shirt, black jazz pants or shorts and black jazz shoes or bare feet. Long hair must be pulled back in a ponytail.
