Summer Camps 2010

Audition: Please call the studio to arrange an audition date and time to be considered for Intensive should you not be able to attend the scheduled audition date.

(Please arrive 20 minutes early to register. Ballet Attire is suggested.)

There is a $30.00 Audition/Registration Fee.

This summer marks our fifth year to hold a Summer Dance Camp / Intensive program at the studio. Students each day will participate in a variety of classes such as classical ballet, jazz, lyrical, hip-hop, technique and variations and a daily activity such as arts and crafts. Students enrolled in the full dance intensive will participate in a final performance on July 27th in Studio IV starting at 3:00. This entire dance camp is open to dancers in the Ballet II and higher level classes.

Dancers not trained at our studio should be at least 7 years of age with a minimum of 1 year of solid ballet and/or jazz training.

Participants will not be provided lunch and should bring a bag lunch (no refrigerator available) and any beverages or snacks they will require during each scheduled day.

This workshop will be held for two weeks, Monday through Friday, August 16-20, 23-27, 4:00-6:00p. Students each day will participate in a Technique and Choreography class. Students enrolled in the full workshop will participate in a final performance on August 27 5:00 in Studio IV.

Consider paying per class:

$18.00 per single dance lesson

$20.00 per craft class

Register for both “Two Week Full Day Camp” and “Choreography / Performance Workshop” by July 12th 2010 and pay only one registration fee.

Cost for the entire two week Program is $250.00 ($30.00 audition fee not included)

Cost for 10 technique classes $175.00. ($30.00 audition fee not included). M-F 4:00 - 5:15

Cost for the entire two week Dance Camp Intensive is $450.00 ($30.00 audition fee not included)

Cost for one week of camp $275.00. ($30.00 audition fee not included)

In order to participate in the final performance, dancers must be enrolled in the entire two week camp.

Regularly scheduled Saturday (not a part of the dance camp) classes will still be held in July. New school year class schedule resumes in September.
