Thank you for choosing Lisette’s Dance Studio as your Dance training facility! We are a professional school, and you will see this right away in our classes, performances, and school activities. Being a traditional ballet studio, we do not participate in costly competitions but instead choose to hold annual performances and participate with City Ballet of San Diego in the Nutcracker Suite Ballet.
At the same time, we hope you also find that our studio is a family. We are a family united by a love of the arts and a commitment to sharing this love with our children.
It is our goal as a school to nurture the whole artist within your student, whether your child visits us once a week, two or three times a week for a variety of dance classes, or trains 3 or more days a week as a part of our pre-professional ballet program.
We hope you will find that our faculty inspires your child to the love of dance, and at the same time introduces him or her to the discipline and to the high standards of the art through adherence to respected teaching methods in our dance program.
Just as a performer needs both technique and charisma on the stage, we believe a student grows the most in a school that values the joy as well as the discipline of the art. In this way, we serve both the recreational artist and the young artist with professional aspiration.
